- "The SANREM CRSP Project: Literature database." Description: The database was developed for the SANREM CRSP project to serve as a reference for modeling the dynamic interactions between the local populations, their NRM technologies and practices at the enterprise or local government landscape/lifescape scale (target: local, national, regional researchers and practitioners). This extensive collection of information is comprised of literature pertaining to sustainable development (agricultural and NRM) in developing countries with a concentration on the West African/Sahel region and other arid and semi-arid regions. Topics include sustainable agricultural and natural resource management, conflict resolution, small-scale and subsistence farming systems (sedentary, agro-pastoral, nomadic pastoralism) policy/planning, religion, socio-economic dimensions, and other synergetic elements that maintain and influence West Africa's ecosystem. It also includes a wide range of workforms consisting of journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, government documents, conference reports. Comments: Covers essentially West Africa.
